AREV, FARM EUROPE, Vignerons Coopérateurs de France, l’Interprofession des Vignobles du Sud-Ouest, in collaboration with ITER VITIS and RECEVIN will promote the first EUROPEAN WINE DAY on 27 October 2023 in Toulouse, the capital of Occitanie.
Occitanie, with its 263,000 ha, is one of Europe’s leading vineyards with official quality labels. Toulouse, designated European Wine City in 2023, is the ideal place to welcome representatives of the European institutions, the European regions, the wine world and academia, to discuss the major challenges facing the
wine sector.
Wine is THE SOUL OF EUROPE, the symbol of European civilisation and an extraordinary resource for Europe’s regions.
However, the challenges facing the wine world are many: the economic crisis, increasingly sustainable viticultural practices, changing consumer trends, health claims and regulatory restrictions.
