On May 29, 2026, the RECEVIN Board of Directors unanimously approved the creation of a Wine Festivals Network.
The aim of this initiative is not to create a new organizational structure, but rather to develop a European Wine Festivals Calendar that brings together, on a single promotional platform, the main events organized by members of the different National Associations that make up RECEVIN.
This initiative is fully aligned with RECEVIN’s mission to promote cooperation among European wine-producing regions, strengthen the international visibility of its members, and enhance the wine, cultural, and tourism heritage of the territories they represent. It will also contribute to greater coordination and joint promotion of wine-related events taking place across Europe.
As a first step in implementing this initiative, RECEVIN invites each National Association to share the initiative with its members and encourage them to provide information on their main festivals, fairs, exhibitions, wine tourism events, and other wine-related initiatives that they would like to include in the future European Wine Festivals Calendar.
To facilitate this process, we are providing an Event Registration Form. The information collected through the form will enable us to standardize the content and facilitate its subsequent dissemination through RECEVIN’s official communication channels.
The information collected will allow us to:
- develop a European Calendar of Wine Festivals;
- promote events through RECEVIN’s communication channels;
- develop joint international communication and promotional initiatives;
- assess the creation of a European identification mark to distinguish events included in RECEVIN’s European Agenda, as proposed and positively received during the Board of Directors meeting.
The Board of Directors has set the goal of publicly presenting the Agenda in 2027. To allow sufficient time for the information to be compiled and validated, as well as for a joint communication strategy to be developed, the requested information should be submitted to the RECEVIN General Secretariat by October 31, 2026.
The General Secretariat remains fully available to provide any necessary clarification and to support and monitor the entire process, in close cooperation with the National Associations.
